Andrea Lynn Waronker has a MSW from Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work. Previously, she was a certified elementary school teacher and high school English teacher. It is this past career as a teacher, and her work as a therapist, coupled with her love of children, adolescents and adults that allows her to be an effective therapist. She has worked with emotionally disturbed, autistic, and mentally challenged children and teens. She uses a cognitive and systemic approach to therapy. She works in concert with a psychiatrist and medical doctor. A lot of her work has been in addiction and substance abuse. She has a strong familiarity with 12 step fellowships. Andrea offers services in the individual, group and family modalities. Talk therapy, otherwise known as cognitive therapy is used in concert with behavior modification techniques. Andrea's unique style of treatment uses a host of factors in a client's life...family, culture, religion, and economics. She is a firm believer in incorporating all of life's offerings to the identified patient. She is available day, evening and weekend hours.
